STEPS TO CONNECT YOUR PHONE TO YOUR PC FOR BROWSING

Here are 15 vital steps to take to connect your phone to your PC (Desktop or Laptop) and use it as a modem for browsing on the MTN, Etisalat and Airtel Networks in Nigeria.

STEP 1:     Connect your phone to your computer using the data cable or Bluetooth device

STEP 2:     Go to the Control Panel from the start menu and click on Internet Options

STEP 3:     Click on connections

STEP 4:     Click on Set up

STEP 5:     Click on ‘Next’ on the Connection Wizard

STEP 6:     Click ‘next’ and select “Connect to the internet”, then next again

STEP 7:     Click “Set up my connection manually” and then “next”

STEP 8:     Click on “Connect using a dial up modem”

STEP 9:     Select on your phone modem and next

STEP 10:   Input the ISP Name. You can input MTN Broadband and the ‘Next’

STEP 11:   For the dial up Number, input *99# and click ‘Next’

STEP 12:   Input “web” as the username and password and click ‘Next’

STEP 13:   Click on “Finish”

STEP 14:   Click on the start button, then click on “connect to”. Select MTN Broadband

STEP 15:   Input username and password. Then click on “Dial”
