A total of 18 goals were scored in week one of the Nigerian Premier League. The match between Rangers Int’l and Lobi Stars produced the most number of goals – five (5) in total while the only match that produced no goals was that between newly promoted Bukola Babes and Zamfara Utd. Only Dolphin recorded an away win, three (3) matches ended in draws while the remaining six (6) matches were home wins.
