ANALYSIS OF WEEK SEVEN RESULTS IN THE 2010/2011 NIGERIA PREMIER LEAGUE

Nine matches were played this weekend in the Nigeria Premier League. The match between Warri Wolves and Ocean Boys was postponed to allow Ocean Boys’ players and officials get over the shocking demise of their left-back Emma Ogoli last week. The match has been rescheduled for January 5, 2011.

In the week MTN won the sponsorship bid of the league, there were no away wins; only one away goal was scored by Dolphin FC.

The Defending Champions, Enyimba Int’l continued their unimpressive run in the league as they lost away at Plateau Utd. Enyimba have only scored one goal in 4 matches on the road this season.
