The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has
released the 2013 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) results
barely a week after candidates sat for the examination.
Jamb registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde made the announcement on Friday May 3, 2013. According to him, a total of 1,629,102 candidates applied to sit for the Paper
Pencil Test (PPT), while 15,008 candidates applied for the Dual Based Test (DBT)
bringing the total number of candidates to 1,644,110.
An overview of the candidates’ performance shows that:
==>10 candidates scored 300 and above.
==>127,017 candidates scored between 1-159 marks.
==>40,692 were found invalid due to either multiple shading or
no shading at all.
==>12,110 results were withheld.
JAMB registrar, Prof. Dibu Ojerinde assured the candidates
that their results could be accessed on
the JAMB website www.myjambresult.com
using their registration numbers.
Ojerinde added that the Computer Based Test (CBT) is
scheduled to take place from May 18 to June 1 appealed to candidates to reprint
their e-registration slips afresh to further ascertain their CBT centres.

Ogbongeblog says that candidates can also access their results via http://jamb.org.ng/Unifiedtme3/ in
case the first web address is not accessible.
All candidates need to do, according to the top-ranked Nigerian blog, is to
enter their Registration numbers/PINs or Slip Numbers in the UTME result
checker box, then click on the “submit” button.
