WASTE: A SILENT MONSTER

Waste is a subtle devourer.

It is one of the greatest hindrances to prosperity.

Show me a waster today and I will show you a beggar tomorrow.

Waste is spending the money you don’t have to buy the things you don’t need to impress people who don’t like you.

Jesus said in John 6:12, “Gather the fragments that remain that nothing be lost.

Waste is a blessing leakage.

Waste is the reason many people will remain at the survival level.

Some people buy phones that are bigger than them, clothes that are bigger than them. Some people pay unnecessary and avoidable bills.

You don't spend money because you have it, you spend it because there is a need to meet.

SEVEN AREAS OF WASTE YOU MUST CHECK

1.       Avoid buying things under pressure; either the pressure you put on yourself through envy or the pressure from others.

2.       Avoid impulse buying.

3.  Unnecessary phone calls: If you don’t need an immediate reply, send a text message.

4.     As much as possible, avoid eating out, either at the sophisticated or local eateries. Eat home cooked food at least twice daily.

5.       Excessive fuel consumption. (Generator and Car)

6.       Incessant travels and journeys.

7.       Parties and Ceremonies. (Birthday party is unnecessary if you cannot afford it on your day)
