A BRIEF ANALYSIS OF WEEK FOUR RESULTS IN THE 2010/2011 NIGERIA PREMIER LEAGUE

After four rounds of matches in the 2010/2011 Nigeria Premier League, four teams have yet to score away from home: Bukola Babes, Kwara United, Rangers Int’l, and Zamfara United. Bukola Babes, however, got their first goal of the campaign – and what a vital one it was – they pipped the unimpressive defending champions, Enyimba Int’l, by that solitary strike.
The third away win of the campaign was recorded in Jos where Warri Wolves edged past home side JUTH FC by a solitary strike.
A total of 22 goals were scored in this round of fixtures. Four teams – 3SC, Gombe Utd, Kaduna Utd, and JUTH FC – all lost their unbeaten runs, leaving Warri Wolves and Sharks FC as the only beaten teams in the four-week old league.
