Glosoccer is a service recently launched by Globacom which offers subscribers news, information on football-related events and highlight such things as updates on upcoming matches, fixtures, results, goal scorers, rankings and match results.
On this platform, you get the latest news from the Nigeria
Glosoccer is offered through two platforms – Short Message Service (SMS) and data/web-based service.
To subscribe to the SMS service, simply send the keyword of your favourite league to 5836 from a glo line.
Send NPL for Nigeria
Send EPL for English Premier League
Send UCL for UEFA Champions League
Send ESP for Spanish Laliga
Send ISA for Italian Serie A
Send GER for German Bundesliga
Send NED for Dutch League
Send FRA for French League
SMS costs =N=75 per league and it is renewable every 2 weeks.
To subscribe to the data – based service, from your glo line, send “Glosoccer” as a text message to 757 to get started. You will receive an SMS with the following link: http://glo.soccerazzi.in, this link provides you with the application for a single day trial. You will be charged 15 kobo per kilobyte for the download and usage of this application. After the one day free trial, you will then send an SMS “GLOSOCCER” to 675 to subscribe for the service for which you will be charged =N=100 per league every week.
